SCHIERMONNIKOOG FESTIVAL

Tuesday 3rd October 7pm and 9pm

HEXAD Collective present their programme 'Queens of Heaven and Earth' on the beautiful, windswept island of Schiermonnikoog. With music by in-house composers Anna Semple and Piers Kennedy, alongside a sequence of works by Lassus, Manchicourt, Jonathan Lane and Padilla amongst others.

ST BARTHOLOMEW THE GREAT
CITY MUSIC SOCIETY

HEXAD Collective present the opening concert as part of Barts' celebration of religion, medicine and music in Smithfields, the 900th anniversary of the founding of the Priory of St Bartholomew. With a programme tracing the history of St Bart's the Great, hear works by William Byrd, Thomas Tallis, Christopher Tye and John Sheppard, alongside HEXAD Collective's Composer-Singers Anna Semple and Piers Kennedy.

THE TUNNEL SHAFT

HEXAD Collective continue in their series exploring secret music in secret venues, this time focusing on the feasts of St Peter and Paul, and the Assumption from William Byrd's Gradualia, as well as music by our resident composer-singers, Margaret Rizza, and the European convent composers Raphaella Aleotti and Maddalena Casulana.

THE CHURCH AND CRYPT OF ST ETHELDREDA'S, ELY PLACE

HEXAD Collective embark on their journey through the Gradualia music of William Byrd with music for Easter, Pentecost and Ascension, alongside works by Richard Rodney Bennett, Raffaella Aleotti and new compositions by Piers Kennnedy and Anna Semple.
